HOw to applyIn order to apply for certification under Tlingit & Haida’s Certified Tribal Artist program, you must be a tribally enrolled citizen, at least 18 years of age, and comply with the requirements below.

USE OF CTA SEALOnly affix the Certified Tribal Artist seal, which features a Tinaa with Eagle/Raven design embedded within the shield and the words "Certified Tribal Artist" to original art that has been or will be made entirely by the Artist.
The Artist understands the Certified Tribal Artist seal is copyrighted as described above and will not be reproduced in any form without written permission from Central Council. Artwork when listed will meet the "Authentic Indian Arts and Crafts" and "Indian Product" criteria (unless otherwise noted), and is labeled appropriately as authentic in compliance with 36CFR 51 Truth-In-Marketing laws concerning Native American / Alaska Native arts and crafts. |
